as a Voltage Source for the Hydroponic Plant Pump.

The design involved a 5x5 m solar panel installation atop a school. The solar panel was used to power the hydroponic pump and the surrounding lights. The components used included an inverter to convert the DC electrical signal generated by the solar panel into an AC electrical signal, enabling its use for other purposes. The solar panel output was maximized using a Suder-branded MPPT solar charge controller. The electrical signal generated by the solar panel was stored in a battery as the main power source for various electrical needs such as the hydroponic pump, lights, and other electrical devices. In addition to maximizing the output from the solar panel, the MPPT solar charge controller regulated the power entering the battery to prevent overcharging.
